Launched in 2020 the Health and Care Worker Visa is open to qualified doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. Nurses who are trained from outside European Union require registration with the Nursing and midwifery council (NMC) to work as a Nurse in UK.

A Health and Care Worker visa allows medical professionals to come to or stay in the UK to do an eligible job with the NHS (National Health Service) , an NHS supplier or in adult social care. Registered Nurses are the backbone of the country in Healthcare system. As part of the NHS, Nurses are entitled to an annual personal development review and plan to support their professional goals.

To be eligible, the candidate must have:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital.
  • Demonstrate the Language proficiency of minimum CLB 8.
  • Possess a Job and ‘Certificate of Sponsorship’ from an employer with information about the role offered in the UK.
