Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Immigration is a special program introduced for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. This program is for those individuals who want to sponsor their parents and grandparents to become permanent residents of Canada.

The sponsored parents and grandparents get Permanent residency status in Canada and can avail of all the government benefits that come with PR. This includes the right to live and work in as well as access to public-funded health care and other services provided by the Government of Canada.

Also, the sponsored parents and grandparents may become Canadian citizens eventually. They will enjoy all the benefits of a Canadian citizen.
