Express Entry Skilled Worker Category:
This Category is one of the streams to attain PR in Newfoundland and Labrador. To apply under this stream, applicant must be accepted in Federal Express Entry pool.
If an applicant holds a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), he/she may be eligible under this stream if the profile of the applicant is accepted in Express Entry pool. The applicant should also obtain a valid Express Entry key code and job seeker validation code to accompany your application.
Eligibility Requirement:
General Express Entry Skilled Worker eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Score a minimum of 67 points out of 100 on the PNP point assessment grid
- Applicant must have valid job or job offer from an eligible employer in the province that is valid for at least two years
- Applicants must be accepted into Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry pool
- Have an IRCC Work Permit with at least 4 months remaining at time of application, or be entitled to apply for one
- An applicant must have Canadian diploma, certificate, or credential with ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) by a recognized authority for overseas educational credential
- Must fulfilled language proficiency requirement of minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7
The language proficiency test accepted to assess proficiency are IELTS (General Training Test), CELPIP (General test), or TEF for French
